Emergence of a New Youth Face in Maharastra

After the declaration of results in October, there had been many ups & downs in the politics of Maharashtra. The recently concluded election was a close one with numerous big leaders failing to secure their respective seats. Amid the recent post-poll developments, there has been the rise of a new youth leader in Marathwada: “Dhiraj Vilasrao Deshmukh”. Dhiraj won with a whopping margin of 121482 votes from ‘Latur rural’ constituency. This is by far the biggest margin for a debutant.   One can ascertain the popularity of Dhiraj in his constituency by the fact that the second position was taken by NOTA in the election results. 199601 was the total number of voters who turned out to exercise their right to vote, out of which Dhiraj secured 135006 votes, which constitutes 67.63 % 0f total votes. Effect of NOTA and Independent leaders on the loss of BJP- First time after 2014 the main opponent party of country Indian National Congress has a significant win in the heartland of BJP. They have struck very hard to the core voters of the BJP. In last few I have travelled to different parts of the country. Few days back when I was at a remote part of Patna I just heard few people talking on the issue of Salman Khan's case. One of them( Looking like a street vendor) said " GARIBON KO KOI KIMMAT NAHI HOTI SAHAB! THIK HAI SALMAN NE NAHI MARA TO KISNE MARA" ( There is no value of poor! If Salman is not the culprit then who is??) Also a old aged person shared his experience of Indian Judiciary System. His son is under trail for last three years for a minor charge of theft . He has been trying for his bail for last three years but yet have succed few days back.
